Do you feel stuck in go-nowhere habits, such as procrastination, scattered routines and/or lack of organization?

I can help you learn and discover the skills and tricks to become a Star Organizer. Procrastination used to stand in my way, until I learned ways to establish positive habits over time. Now I am a consultant on how to organize, get moving, and get things done.

Research indicates that well over 20 percent of people worldwide procrastinate, and mood challenges can often make it hard to get going, persist, and complete goals to realize visions.

A large percentage of college students sabotage success by stalling, and the teens years are a great time to bust procrastination tendencies early.

My passion is helping clients become what I term Activators who initiate, persist and complete in the various areas of their life. I am committed to using my skills and talents to help you formulate and discover your unique success routines. Exciting research demonstrates the value of living in an organized, flowing home, which can be the foundation for success in more areas of your life.

I love to help young people by coaching them in developing skills to effectively manage stress, develop healthy habits, and learn success formulas. I have extensive experience identifying and treating various types of mood challenges, and have helped hundreds of teens and young adults. Getting treatment for your teen can make all the difference in the world.

We know the brain is not finished developing until around 24 years of age (actually it can change all through life), and new research on teenage brain growth helps to guide effective treatment. For instance, boys are highly influenced by their peers and crave a great deal of stimulation. It is therefore crucial to have teens practice “thinking things out” rather than being lectured to.

I aim to find ways to get parents involved whenever possible to enhance the healthy growth of their adolescents. I believe too many parents do not recognize how important they still are to their teens, even though teens may distance themselves as they begin to move toward adulthood.

Is your teen unhappy with the face she/he sees in the mirror, having trouble making friends, or overly sensitive?

Is your teen unhappy with the face she/he sees in the mirror, having trouble making friends, or overly sensitive?

I am a relationship expert and love helping young people develop strong, confident relationships with self, parents, and peers. Low self-esteem is a common issue I see with teens, and cultivating solid self-esteem tools is vital.

I often start by teaching teens to: a) identify the emotions they are experiencing from our core list – sad, mad, scared, frustrated, excited, joy, or love; b) learn to tolerate and contain their feelings, until they clearly understand what they want to express; and c) cultivate the courage to speak their truth one tiny step at a time.

More than ever, we need to help our young people develop strong relationship skills, which depend on connection and communication among all family members. Moving beyond electronic devices and distractions, “Families that talk in person together flourish together.”
